Job Title: Senior Web Application Developer (Front End Emphasis)
Location: Bangalore
Qualifications: Bachelors or higher in Computer Science or Engineering
Experience - 8 + years of experience in backend development for multi-tier web applications
Salary: Best hike in industry
Responsibilities:
*Develop web server /app server modules based on project feature specifications
*Collaborate with team to follow the development processes
*Display fluency in current software trends, object-oriented design (OOD) patterns and programming best practices
*Participate in team design and development meetings
*Participate in functional testing and performance testing of the overall product
Expertise:
*Object-oriented design (OOD) patterns and programming best practices
*J2EE technologies, Servlets, Java APIs, JDBC, LDAP, Queues, ORM, Multithreaded functionality, Caching, XML, JSON, Client communication, Event handling, and Web Services
*Ability to read build/install documentation and setup/integrate external packages
*Expertise in handling session persistence, tracking, logging, authentication, security, etc
*Familiarity with Linux environment and shell scripting.
*Detail-oriented, able to complete tasks on time, and have excellent communication skills
*Aware of trends and technologies in website backend functionality
*Ability to work well within a team; possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Experience:
*8+ years of experience in backend development for multi-tier web applications
*Experience in using message queues (JMS, Active MQ, etc.)
*Experience with application servers (Tomcat, JBOSS, etc.); configuration, application deployment, and clustering
*Experience in writing multithreaded code in a distributed environment
*Experience in using server side web page caching mechanisms
*Experience with Spring, Hibernate is a plus
*Must provide code samples of prior work
