Skill & Experience:
Experience growing medical device practice from ground up
Experience in setting up, selling and managing R&D, engineering services in medical devices service industry.
Experience handling projects in one or more medical devices such as patient monitoring (pulse oximeter, ECG, NIBP, IBP, multi-parameter vital signs, spirometry, plethysmograph) or medical imaging (MRI, CT, Ultrasound, PET, SPECT) or cardiovascular devices (stents, balloon catheters, angiography devices) or cardiac rhythm management devices (pacemakers, defibrillators, leads) or other class II / class III medical devices.
Experience in end-to-end product lifecycle of complex medical devices that comprises of software, firmware and hardware (electrical, electronics and mechanical).
Strong program / project management skills; must have proven record of managing large global programs / projects; strong execution and delivery experience; must have proven record of consistently exceeding customer expectations.
Good knowledge of global medical devices market trends; ability to identify growth areas and provide insights to help create roadmap for the medical device practice.
Thorough understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in medical device industry for key medical markets including USA, Canada, Europe, Japan and emerging markets; experience in quality system requirements such as ISO 13485, ISO 14971, IEC 62304 and FDA"s 21CFR 820; experience in CE marking of medical devices.
