JOB LOCATION:  Bangalore
AREAS:  Microstrategy Testers and Developers ; Abinitio ; Datastage
WEEKEND DRIVE WILL BE CONDUCTED AT BANGALORE

EXPERIENCE, CHARACTERISTICS & KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:

Experience: 3-6 years

MSTR Testing

  • Experience in testing Reporting tool -  MicroStrategy.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and processes
  • Ability to develop test assets (e.g. test plans, test designs, test cases, discrepancy reports, etc.)
  • Ability and working knowledge of software test tools such as ClearQuest and Quality Center.
  • Experience in testing MicroStrategy andLoad Runner.
  • Database experience in Oracle/ DB2 Ø Very Good SQL Knowledge.

MSTR Development

  • 3+ Years Microstrategy Development Experience
  • Experience in Requirement Analysis/Design/Coding/testing
  • Strong Microstrategy Schema Modeling
  • Proven experience with Dashboard and Report Development
  • Familiar with Data warehouse concepts
  • Excellent SQL Skills

Abinitio

  • 5 or more years of Ab Initio ETL experience.
  • Hands on experience in Unix and shell scripting
  • Expertise in relational database and SQL development (Oracle, Teradata, etc)
  • Expert in best practices for Data Marts and Enterprise DW architectures.
  • Development experience in a cross-platform, multi-tier environment.
  • Knowledge of all DW-related components (Sourcing, ETL, Data Modeling, Infrastructure, BI, Reporting).
  • Exposure to Ab Initio MFS, STDENV, E>ME, ACE (Application Configuration Env), Metadata Hub, OPS control, BRE (Business Rule Environment) would be a plus.
  • Combination of mainframe and open systems experience a plus.
  • Extensive knowledge of UDB (3 years of experience or more) would be a plus

Datastage
  • Overall experience 4-7 years in DWH projects
  • Multiple DWH Project Experience
  • Strong architecture, design & development experience in developing Server/Parallel jobs using Data Stage 7.5 / IBM Information Server 8.x.
  • Must have ability to understand the source systems, DW data model and be able to create source to DW target mapping document to populate data in DW.
  • Strong knowledge of DW concepts & SQL skills. SQL tuning and knowledge/experience of Unix shell script.
  • Experience in DB2  queries is a plus.
