DESIGNATION: Principal Architect - Application Design
Qualification - BE/B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech
Job Description:

  • B.Tech/MCA with minimum 7 years of Post qualification experience with at least 2 years as Architect for a Large Java/J2EE based project
  • Hands on experience on Weblogic, Application server
  • Clear understanding and experience on J2EE Performance engineering and JVM tuning
  • Experience on Clover or similar code coverage / metrics collection tool.
  • Experience on Idea IntelliJ or similar IDE
  • Design or Application ownership experience on at least 1 large (50000 plus LOC) custom J2EE application frameworks
  • Ability to prepare and maintain coding standards for various Java technologies like Swing, JSP, JMS, JDBC etc
  • Hands on Application design experience on Hibernate, Log4J
  • Very Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Various estimation methodologies like FP, expert judgement etc.. (not COCOMO or Delphi)


Nice to Have skills:

  • People management, ability to lead a team of 5 to 10 developers
  • UML documentation, MS Visio
  • Healthcare (HIS/LIS) domain experience
  • SQL query optimization and DB performance tuning abilities
  • Ability to play the role technical mentor to the team of 5 to 10 developers
  • Hands on experience on Swing, core Java, Threads
