Technical Project Lead/ Architect
7 to 9+ years of experience in software development with a strong experience in JAVA/J2EE technologies
Should have played the role as Technical Lead/Designer/Architect for at least 2 projects (preferably web projects).
Ability to set the architectural dimensions & direction for a project
Expert in technologies: Java, J2EE, EJB, JSP, XML, UML, AJAX, Web-Services, Spring, Hibernate, Struts, Servelets,
Experience with full lifecycle development projects,
Must have good understanding on SOA, Java technologies, Web Services, and XML (Sun Certification, Oracle / SQL Server knowledge - project level design experience & good SQL skills would be an advantage).
Excellent with RDBMS and data modeling
Strong exposure to Application Servers
Good experience with open source software frameworks such as MVC framework, Spring framework, Ajax, Hibernate
Should be able to conceptualize, define and build Solution architecture, provide technical support and guide development teams
Should have designed & implemented EAI using SOA, Web-services solutions.
Participate in software (OSS) and hardware selection, delivery and implementation
Must be an expert in technologies such as SOA, J2EE, Core Java with extensive experience in a similar role
Must have excellent technical skills with ability to do hands-on programming occasionally
Ability to review designs, code, and spot problems proactively
Ability to analyze and debug complex problems/defects
Ability to suggest improvements in design and code of critical components so as to boost quality, productivity, and overall stability of the application
Strong knowledge of database (should prove solid hands-on experience on of the following db: Oracle, SQL Server, DB2) and legacy systems
Strong communication Skills to be able to interface successfully with client.
Self motivated, pro-active, initiative to learn and show high levels of creativity and innovation to evangelize new ideas.
Should possess excellent problem solving capability and ability to approach problems in a thoughtful and practical manner.
Assists with design of architectural patterns , design of interfaces , design of Web services
Demonstrates traceability between design & requirements
Modeling - business process, logical & physical (data)
Prepare architectural & design docs and presentations
Participate in designing frameworks.
Review technical artifacts
Sets standards and best practices in design & development for project team
Identify technical risks and mitigate them
Ensures performance considerations are part of design and implementation.
