Our client is a Government organization pioneering in e-Governance projects and was established by the Government of Andhra Pradesh (GoAP) in October, 2001 to help it achieve the State's goal of Transforming Governance.
Our client coordinates and supports the design and implementation of GoAP's Governance Reform Programme. They undertake action research, provides professional advice to, and conducts change management programmes for government departments and agencies to help them implement their reform agenda successfully.
Our client organization work closely with policy-makers like Ministers, senior officials, management experts, institutions and other stakeholders, especially citizens towards ushering in a caring government centered on the people.
Position Name : Project Manager
Education Qualification - B.E. / B.Tech / MCA / M.Sc (Computers)
Project Duration - 24 Months (Extendable)
Experience - 10+ years
Technical Expertise -
Expertise in Core Java / J2EE / Servlets / JSP / JavaScript/ XML / Ajax, Struts / Springs, Hibernate technologies
Process methodologies- MVC, SOA Architecture, Tomcat, JBoss.
Knowledge on Linux operating systems.
Strong in understanding of Struts / MVC Frame Work.
Hands on experience in SQL/PLSQL (Oracle/PostgreSQL/MySQL). Good at advanced J2EE concepts such as n-tier J2EE architecture, Distributed multitier applications, Java 2 platform, J2EE components, Application deployment architecture.Good understanding of J2EE packaging, Common J2EE design patterns, J2EE lifecycle and roles.
Should be able to write programs independently.
Monitor and manage the project schedule, cost and resources
Interfacing with customers
Prepare project proposals and submit to clients after approval
Prepare schedule and cost estimates
Review team
Review the technical documents
Approve Risk Management Plan as part of Project Plan
Monitor the project risks and take appropriate actions based on
Project Risk Report
QMS related responsibilities
Assign Change Administrator
Assign Defect Prevention Analyst
Prepare project plan, Configuration Management plan and Test Strategy document
Schedule creation and review of all deliverables
Fix the review comments of the project plan review form
Escalation of issues related to resources and support groups to ADG / Director (Projects)
Submit status report to customer
Reporting the status to the ADG / Director (Projects) every phase end and at project closure
Identification of Interests and training requirements to team members, Consolidation of training requirements and interfacing with training department
Updating skill database of the team
Evolve and follow defined software engineering practices, best practices and documentation standards
Organize and chair project reference group meetings, as appropriate
