We are having an urgent open opportunity for Senior Siebel Professionals based in Dubai
Details:
Sr. Onsite Siebel Tech Lead( Equivalent to Project Manager)
Job Duties/Requirements:
· Managing all design and development aspects of effort estimation, applying the world standard estimation methods, during the different phases of the project.
· Planning & scheduling: The Tech. lead will create iterations and development plans delivered in the form of WBS, assigning resources and creating task dependencies.
· Reviews the design with the design board and obtains their acceptance and coordinate with the architecture team on the implementation details for the solution.
· Monitoring and Follow up the development progress, environment setup progress, any pending issues with other teams (analysis, DB) and escalate to project management as necessary.
· Quality management:
a. Design Review:
i. Ensuring that design best practices and patterns are properly followed.
ii. Continuously organizes design board reviews for own project as well as actively participates in design review sessions of other groups.
iii. Ensuring the design and implementation for maximum performance and best utilization of system resources.
iv. Ensuring that the best architecture is followed for the given case.
b. Code review:
i. Enforcing coding standards of DC, and use creative tools to check for compliance.
ii. Ensure that bug fixing and feature implementations are following the agreed on design.
· Scope management:
Always filters what is considered in scope and will be implemented from what is out of scope and needs to be treated as future plans or change requests.
· Prepare weekly status reports on project development progress and ensure the project plans are updated on daily basis to monitor the progress.
· Defect management:
a. Filter defects accepting implementation related defects.
b. Assign resources for fixing the accepted detected defects.
c. Ensure proper comments / marks are added as necessary by developers.
· Deployment management: Supervise and participate as necessary in creating the Transition plan as well as the release notes.
· Configuration management:
a. Ensuring that the project repository is created as part of the environment setup.
b. Ensuring that all design and development artifacts are on the source control repository.
c. Ensuring the tagging of the source on version control before every release or major milestone.
· Ensure the project development team following DC established SDLC processes and continuously provide feedback on the SDLC.
Development
· Strategically set the knowledge acquiring mechanisms for his/her team, and transfer knowledge across other development teams.
· Organize knowledge transfer and lessons learnt sessions across development teams.
· Carries out infield support and one to one sessions with the team members.
