About the Role:
Technical Manager:
* Should have handled at least 2 projects at a Project Management level
* Must be comfortable with offshore project delivery.
* Must have gone through at least one complete software development cycle working on a commercially sold enterprise software product
* Thorough understanding of software development processes including testing processes
* Can provide estimates for major new functionality as well as minor change orders
* Have managed team size of at least 10
* Have client interaction skills.
* Has strong acumen to grasp complex business problems and translate into task based project deliverables
* Should be able to guide the team in coding
* Excellent spoken and written communication skills
* Should be an expert in Project Planning
* Excellent skills on Microsoft Project Plan or other planning tools.
* Prepare the project plan in collaboration with the team members.
* Establish the project schedule.
* Identify both formal and informal team roles for each member of the team.
* Schedule team meetings.
* Assist the other members of the team in resolving problems.
* Help the individual members to make a contribution consistent with their skill level and work style.
* Make certain the team meets the schedule for deliverables and task milestones.
* Make certain that the team conducts the peer reviews on schedule.
