Experience in performance test engineering, capacity planning and scalability testing.
Skill & Knowledge requirement:
Planning and execution of test strategies for moderate to complex performance test engagements to determine system performance, capacity, stability, and scalability addition
Develop and maintain performance test plans, cases, scenarios, and scripts, design test data strategies for performance test.
Perform test execution, monitoring, diagnostics, analysis, tuning, and reporting of results to identify and troubleshoot system performance issues and bottlenecks, as well as lead the work of others and the review of performance-related work products and deliverables
Strong ability to interpret and summarize performance test metrics, including the ability to correlate, create and present result reports for various audiences
Experience scripting with at least 2 to 3 performance testing platforms and load generators (NeoLoad, Load Runner, JMeter, WebLOAD etc)
Working knowledge of one or more software programming languages like Java, C#. along with scripting languages like Perl and SHELL
Strong understanding of software development life cycles, software engineering processes, test processes, operating systems, web applications, client/server applications, distributed systems, shared services, communication protocols, and architectures required.
Explore and identify framework approach for performance testing, engineering including productivity utilities, reusable & modular code
Very good problem solving, critical thinking, analytical and trouble-shooting skills.
Excellent oral/written communication skills
