Role Summary/Purpose
Business Analyst is responsible for understanding the requirements and writing, maintaining application software used for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) applications.
Essential Responsibilities *Development of new software modules and applications using Enovia MatrixOne
*Maintenance of existing applications, performing code reviews on the existing/developed artifacts
*Verifying software functions as required and fixing issues as needed
*Experience in planning and design the application based on the given requirement specs and *Experience in writing the Functional Specs and Design Specs
*Should have very Good Knowledge of software development methodology/processes and life cycle
*Should have a relevant experience in handling a team size of 4 to 8
*Documenting development work as specified in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) guidelines and business coding standards
*Development of Unit Test Plans
*Fixing Bugs and Unit Testing of developed code and bug fixes
*Application installations and execution of User Acceptance and Unit test plans
*Providing progress updates to Business team and Program Managers
*Good Communication & Analytical Skills
*Proactive and Problem Solving Skills
* Familiarity in Six Sigma methodology, CMM
* Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplined, multi-functional team environment with Integrity and accountability
Qualifications/Requirements *B.Tech / MCA / MSC (CS)
*6 to 8 years of experience developing Enovia MatrixOne applications in business environment
*Enovia MatrixOne VCP Application specific knowledge - Engineering Central, Document Central, Supplier Central, Product Central, Application Framework, etc...
*Experience developing or supporting engineering design applications
*Awareness of logical/physical data modeling and object-oriented analysis and design concepts
*Strong knowledge of Java, JSP, UI3
*Willingness to improve technical skills and keep up with emerging technology trends
Desired Characteristics *Six Sigma Green Belt Certified
*Application development experience in a corporate environment
*Knowledge on Enovia PLM
*Strong interpersonal skills
*Configuration of Application Servers on Windows and Unix: - Unix Commands / Web Sphere / Web Logic / Tom Cat / SUNONE
