• Develops and maintains threat analysis content within the constraints of the short time-frame required to deliver this content to customers.
• Conceptual understanding and applied experience with security concepts and networking.
• Provides authoritative guidance to the team when issues arise. Seeks guidance from a supervisor only when issues are otherwise irresolvable. Occasionally must make decisions analysis and content in lieu of a supervisor.
• Advanced knowledge of a number of different threats affecting multiple platforms. Senior threat analysts should have one or more areas of expertise that they specialize in and should be an authority on these topics.
• Writes technical reports based on the results of analysis.
• Able to provide leadership and guidance for smaller projects and research reports.
• May be called upon to represent the team internally and externally.
Skills Required:
• Detailed knowledge of vulnerabilities and malware, developing IDS signatures, disassembling, debugging, low level programming C and ASM. | | | | Qualifications | | • BE /BTech in Computer Science / MCS. | | |
