- Work with cutting edge data crawling, search engine, information retrieval and database technologies
- Work closely with architects and leads to take ownership of and help test, release and maintain the solutions you develop
- Drive the full application development lifecycle - requirements analysis, design, coding, debugging and bug fixing
- Work with customers, support, and QA to provide innovative customer solutions.
- Design for testability | | | | Qualifications | | - Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, with a strong academic record (BE, BTech, ME, MTech, MCA, MS etc.).
- 2+ years of relevant industry software development experience.
- knowledge of Java Programming using J2EE environment, with knowledge of JDBC, Apache Tomcat, Struts, MySQL etc.
- Familiarity with multi-threaded and distributed software and with network protocols is desirable
- Knowledge of unstructured text analysis, information retrieval and search technologies desirable
- Knowledge of and experience with OO design, UML and design patterns etc.
- Strong multitasking, multi-project skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
