Job Description:-
1) Several years hands on experience with Java 1.5. Book learning is not enough. Fresher’s not adequate.
2) Full life cycle experience with Java development. I.e., Starting with a design-- ability to understand the design (and question it if appropriate), develop code based on the design, test, and support to system testing etc.
3) Familiarity with Use Cases. Ability to interpret Use casesâ€"including UMLâ€"and to develop code from them
4) Ability to understand Java code and reverse engineer into requirements.
5) Java development experience in a web environment. Familiarity with HTML and the differences in developing Java code in a web framework
6) Experienced with all phases of SDLC (Waterfall)
7) Experience with Agile methodologies a major plus
8) Good understanding of OO concepts.
9) Experience with Clear case a major plus, but minimally needs strong experience with some Source/Library management tool
10) Ability to understand code, correct code, and develop quality code
11) Experience with conducting and/or participating in code design reviews and code walkthroughs
12) Familiarity with Model View Controller (MVC.)
