Designation: Sales Manager/Director-Hospitality Domain

Job Summary


A Director, Sales â€" is specifically responsible for the effective direction of all sales related activity for the ALLOCATED TERRITORY. More specifically this involves managing the following areas: Sales; Marketing; Account Management, and Public Relations.

This position is accountable for the sales success of the business unit. The overall objective of this role is to achieve or exceed budgeted revenues each financial year.

Duties & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Required to participate in the creation of the business plan for the business unit.
· Responsible for achieving quarterly & annual financial targets (revenue quota).
· Responsible for the effective management of the sales business partners in the allocated territory.
· Responsible for the overall planning, strategy, direction and control of all sales in the allocated territory; including setting sales strategies & policies; control of the business partners; achievement of agreed sales volumes; and the development of future sales plans.
· Responsible for maintaining eSales CRM and submitting required sales reporting to the VP of Sales.
· Responsible for handling escalated customer complaints.
· Required to communicate with customers to ensure that contractual service expectations are exceeded.


Credentials and Experience:

Essential:
· Significant experience in a commercial environment, including 4-8 years’ experience at a management level.
· Current knowledge of the state of the hospitality technology market, industry and environment.
· Proven sales record.
· Minimum four years experience establishing contacts and building positive relationships with senior level decision makers in targeted companies.
· Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
· Experience using the Microsoft suite of products in particular, Outlook, Excel, Word, Project and PowerPoint.


Desirable:
· Previous experience working in a sales or management position in the hospitality industry.
· Previous experience working in a sales or management position in the software & hardware industry.

· Superior communication skills, written and verbal
(Must be fluent in English, second language an advantage)
· Superior presentation skills
· Strong management and interpersonal skills with the ability to earn respect from both employees and customers.

· Ability to create solid and positive relationships with customers.
· Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization - both our internal & external.

Experience: 5+ Years

Education: BE/ME/MCA/MBA/Graduate
