Posting Job Title : Senior Web Application Developer
Experience: 9-14 years
External Job Description :
The candidate must have worked extensively on the presentation layer and have strong knowledge of client side web application development.
Overall Responsibilities:
• Own the architecture and implementation of one or more browser based applications.
• Analyze and understand key user interaction flows within & between related applications and develop some of the more complex components / features.
• Work closely with User Experience designers, Server/middle-ware developers, QA/build and other teams through the whole life cycle of the product.
• Make sure that all paths through the application(s) are consistent with no loose-ends and proper, user friendly error/warning/closure is provided.
• Provide guidance to and mentor junior members of the team.
Qualification and Experience:
• 9+ years of experience in the field of web application development of which at least 3+ years using modern Web 2.0 technologies.
• Solid expertise in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JSON and Web 2.0 frameworks like Dojo among others.
• Strong understanding of Web Services (REST) & XML related technologies.
• Well versed with the whole product life cycle including extensive experience in work estimation & planning.
• Must be motivated and positive with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A four year B.E / B.S degree required. M.E / M Tech / MS desired.
