Required Skills:
6 years Experience with Java and Java Enterprise Edition
6 years Experience with enterprise application development that involves web based, multi tier architecture and implementation with Java
6 years Experience in designing complicated transactional applications: creating design documents and system architecture documents.
5 years Experience with implementing Web Services
5 years Experience with application servers such as IBM Web sphere (Preferred), JBOSS or Web logic
4 years Experience with system performance tuning, code analysis and bottleneck detection
4 years Experience with XML and XSLT
3 years Experience with Rational Application Developer (RAD) and other equivalent IDEs
3 years Experience with DB2, MS SQL Server database
Strong Expert with the Microsoft Office products, including MSWord, Visio, Excel and PowerPoint
Strong Experience debugging, troubleshooting and researching on technical issues with Java applications and web services.
Strong Experience integrating services and applications in a Java Enterprise Edition concept
Strong Communication, analytical and interpersonal skills at all levels.
Desired Skills Required:
5 years Hands-on experience with Apache open source framework family such as ANT, STRUTS, LOG4J, JUNIT etc
4 years Technical lead experience with large implementation
4 years Demonstrated experience with database design
3 years Experience with IBM Mainframe System z/OS
3 years Public sector experience (Federal, State or Local Government).
3 years Good teamwork skills, ability to collaborate with other technical staff on the project.
2+ years Experience with financial industry or tax system
2+ years Experience with Source control system such as CVS or Subversion
2 years Experience with HP Quality Center
1 year Experience working with enterprise software solutions.
