I am writing to you with reference to an assignment I am working on for our client, a high quality International standard General Medical/Surgical Hospital in Dubai, UAE.
It continues to expand its services in primary and secondary care, plus selective tertiary services, to include Centers of Excellence in - Joint Replacement, Heart, Cancer, and Diabetes.
The hospital is the first in the Middle East to get accredited by the Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA).
We have been retained to identify,
POSITION TITLE : ASSISTANT MANAGER, APPLICATIONS
LOCATION : Dubai, UAE
LINES OF RESPONSIBILITY
Director-IT/Manager-IT/Asst Manager(Applications)
QUALIFICATION
BE (Computer Science/ Electronics/ Electrical) Preferably Computer Science /MCA or Graduate/Post graduate with IT degree
Should have good working knowledge of the following
OS : UNIX and Windows NT/2000
Languages : C++, Java, HTML, .NET, ASP
RDBMS : SQL 2000, Oracle 7 or higher version
Tools : Crystal Report writer 8.0 or higher, Developer 2000, SQL*Forms, SQL*Plus
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
At least 10 years of work experience for Graduates/Post graduates and 7 years for BE/MCA.
Minimum of 7 years experience of working in Healthcare industry.
Hands â€" On experience of working with Hospital Information systems
Hands-On experience in working with Lab Information System (LIS)
Must have used the above languages/tools to do coding of reports for HIS/LIS
Good English verbal and written communication skills.
Exposure to / experience of customer service principles
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for liaising with HCIS vendor and the user department
Responsible for implementing various modules of HCIS as assigned.
Responsible for coding all the reports (MIS) requirements
Responsible for giving support to users on HIS/ERM
Responsible for doing Analysis of requirements (both technically and functionally)
REMUNERATION
Approximately 10,000 AED plus HRA plus Travel Allowance per month.
