Position : PSS Manager
Qualification : Any degree
Company : Leading MNC , Location : Chennai
Experience : 8-10 yrs
Scope of Role
 Coach junior members on resolution of technical interface issues
 Manage severity incidents and follow up each issue to closure
 Ensure that preventive measure is taken to prevent severity incidents
 Ensure that appropriate security measures are implemented
 Manage inventory records
 Ensure that SLAs are achieved
 Develop tools for debugging and troubleshooting
 Prepare MIS for Remedy analysis and appropriate action taken
 Ensure that repository of issues resolved is maintained
 Perform root cause analysis of incidents and maintain repository for future use
 Coordinate with IT Service Centre for resolution of issues
 Ensure that back up and disaster recovery plans are executed
 Understand budgets and help senior management achieve the same
Key Responsibilities:
 To play in the role of PSS manager for J2EE centric MCP application
 To manage the PSS team
 To manage the production system proactively
 To provide and manage the periodical production defect fix releases.
 To manage team, financial, budgeting, forecasting, etc.,
 To interact with interfacing teams and resolving the issues.
 To perform impact analysis and code review.
 To take end to end ownership for MCP payment processing.
Selection Criteria :
- 8 to 10 years of experience and java/j2ee centric application as support manager
- Good knowledge in java/j2ee, struts, oracle, MQ related technologies
- Good knowledge in management, financials, budgeting, forecasting, etc.,
- Good in communication, initiative, attitude, aptitude and analytical.
