Role Summary/Purpose
This role is for an engineer who has proven expertise in Java and has
track record of building design/analysis automation solutions for
engineering components design.
Essential Responsibilities â€"
-Study the current IDS (Integrated design system) architecture, an
in-house legacy system, and work towards modernizing this system.
- Display passion to keep keep abreast with latest technology in
design automation.
- Display passion towards understanding the steam turbine design
process and proactively look for process improvements and automation
opportunities.
-Deliver the assigned task on schedule and with quality
-Communicates work activities to local project leader and global team
Qualifications/Requirements â€"
Essential: -BE/BTech or ME/Mtech in Mechanical / Aerospace/
Structural/Metallurgy engineering from reputed educational institutes
with over 6 years of experience.
-Experience in Java, Swing, RMI, Multithreading & JDBC.
-Should be well versed in Java coding standards.
- Hands on experience Experience in database migration from any
database to Oracle.
-Understanding of software development life cycles.
-Good documentation and presentation skills.
-Hands-on experience in Solaris/Unix operating system
