45 E Perform analysis, design requirements, architect technical solutions, develop project plans, perform unit and integration testing, work with users on UAT, implement solutions, document systems, and train users. Work closely with business users to define requirements and architect technical solutions.
15 E Provide production support, including on-call support as required. Participate in code reviews. Manage help desk tickets for support and enhancement requests. Investigate, troubleshoot and correct data and user related system errors.
15 E Develop new internal/external applications and also maintain existing web applications as required. Identify technology issues and opportunities for improvements.
25 E Keep abreast of latest products and technical innovations in the marketplace as related to application supported.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 8 years of software development experience.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
• Project management certification helpful but not required.
ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
• 8 years of practical experience in Website application development & standard Project Lifecycle Methodology
• 2 years practical experience with MS-Project software tool.
• Experience in process improvement strategies and initiatives desired but not required.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Proficiency in Advanced Java, Spring, Hibernate, Freemarker, XML/XSL, HTML, CSS, Java Script
• Proficiency in Databases â€" SQL, MySQL, Oracle
• Ability to create detailed specifications based on business user requirements.
• Excellent knowledge of content management systems such as Interwoven TeamSite required.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to work with all levels of users including non-technical managers, data entry staff, and application developers to ensure data quality from application design to data entry to report delivery.
• Ability to understand very complicated reporting requirements and create a process that ensures data is completely accurate.
• Experience with J2EE application programming and administration. Understanding of n-tier architecture.
• Ability to respond promptly to emergency contacts by operations staff on a 24/7 basis.

• Excellent problem solving skills
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
• May have occasional travel to alternative Franklin-Templeton locations
